You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge security solutions that directly impact national security. Our Cybersecurity Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and monitoring the overall security posture of the organization. Responsibilities:
• This customer focused role supports Security Engineering, Security Architecture, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), and Security Operations.
• You would be a member of an agile team focused on analysis, system design, documentation, testing, implementation and support for highly complex security operations and processes.
• Serve as a leading team member supporting security projects or sub-projects of advanced complexity.
• Use decision making behaviors that require analytical, interpretative, and creative thinking that may not conform to established patterns to solve security problems.
• Provide consultation on highly complex technology to address security gaps which enable business processes.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to other team members.
• Provide subject matter expertise across all edge hardening and perimeter security technologies, endpoint security, and data security. Skills & Experience:
• Experience administering enterprise AV/EDR solutions (i.e. McAfee, Cisco AMP for Endpoints)
• Extensive knowledge of endpoint security concepts (i.e. encryption, certificates, DLP, MITRE ATT&CK framework)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP network protocols and tools (i.e. TLS, proxies, Wireshark, host-based firewalls)
• Experience manipulating large datasets for reporting, remediation, compliance, and other business/security needs using tools including Splunk, Power BI, and Excel
• Ability to ensure emerging requirements are met with minimal impact to the business
• Familiarity with various OS platforms and services including Windows Server, MacOS, Linux distributions, AWS EC2, Azure VMs, and GCP VMs
• Working knowledge of automation and process improvement methodologies including usage of PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
• Understanding of various compliance requirements within the Endpoint Security space and effectively communicate to 3rd party auditors
• 5+ years of work experience with cybersecurity industry Desirable Certifications:
• CompTIA Security+
• CISSP
• Splunk
• Security Solutions/Tools Certifications or other related industry security certifications. • AWS Certifications
