Job description

Patriot Group International Inc. is actively seeking candidates interested in a full time, non-exempt employment opportunities for cleared and experienced Construction Surveillance Technicians (CST) on a federal government construction project in Southern Maryland. Job Description: Observe and interact with construction workers to preclude the introduction of electronic, electrical, mechanical, or any other type of hostile surveillance monitoring devices into finished construction.
Screen all equipment, materials, and furnishings destined for use in the controlled construction area, using X-ray machines and any and all other methods of examination as outlined in the CSP and approved by the government.
Maintain daily logs during tour of duty to be submitted to the SSM.
Attend training in the operation of the proposed inspection equipment.
Write detailed reports in English and complete the analyses of issues, findings, and security situations which require staff action.
Become thoroughly knowledgeable of customer security procedures and the level of security required in various parts of the facility under construction.Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen and have a U.S. Secret (S) Clearance.
Experience in at least one of the following areas of expertise: construction security surveillance, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, industrial or government security involving counterintelligence, construction quality assurance, or hands-on construction experience.
Have completed or be willing to complete a Construction Surveillance Technician Course.
Capable of independent decision-making, possess a high degree of individual initiative, and able to function with minimal supervision.Desired Qualifications: Knowledgeable of construction disciplines, to include civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering principles.
Capable of reading and analyzing designs and blueprints and recognizing the architect's intended use.
Capable of analyzing designs and structural complexities intended to mask an ulterior purpose not intended by the architect.
Have knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles, and the types of devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance.Additional Requirements: Able to stand for up to 8 hours
Able to work outdoors in summer heat and winter cold
Able to walk up to one half mile across uneven surfaces at construction site
Able to bend forward at the waist and knees
Able to climb stairsLocation: Southern Maryland, USA Hours of Operation: Must be able to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
