Our client has been in business for over 30 years servicing clients throughout MD and DC. They started as a small specialty contractor but have since expanded their portfolio to include commercial renovations & new construction projects worth up to $10M. They have a strong growth plan in place to achieve $150M in annual revenue and are looking to grow their team as a result. They are seeking a strong Assistant Project Manager to join their team.

Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Family-Owned GC - MD will be responsible for:

  • coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and vendors
  • maintaining accurate project documentation
  • monitoring project progress
  • staying up to date on healthcare regulations and codes ensuring the project stays compliant
  • attending project meetings
  • completing RFIs, submittals, and change orders

Profile

The Assistant Project Manager - Family-Owned GC - MD will have:

  • 1+ years of experience in construction as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager
  • commercial construction experience required
  • experience assisting on projects up to $10M
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • strong attention to detail
