Responsibilities Peraton is hiring a Development and Integration Network Systems Administrator to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, Maryland. As a Systems Administrator on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Development and Integration Network Systems Administrator on our team you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring of the infrastructure for the COTs tool (Cameo Enterprise Architecture) and related systems used by the customer to develop, test, and operationally model system capabilities. You will: Provide support to day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution.
Configure and manage systems operating systems (Windows & Linux (RedHat , COTs tool user accounts, and software installations for both physical and virtual system instantiations.
Provide systems engineering support to software development efforts to configuration of test environments, aiding in troubleshooting issue observed by monitoring system data flow, reviewing relevant system logs (currently using Elasticsearch / Kibana).
Document proposed systems security relevant changes for inclusion in Systems Security Plan and for use in evaluation of proposed changes under the Risk Management Framework approval process.
Support Health and Status and STE compliancy of servers under SSP (IAVMs, etc.)
Provide bash scripting and powershell support of day-to-day administration and the building of servers supporting architecture activities.Qualifications Individual Capabilities/Experience Required: Ten (10) years of Systems Administration experience is required.
Additional Domain Experience: Computer Network Operations - Must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectures. Information Assurance - Must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation. Architecture development and design. Risk Assessments. IA Metrics gathering.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) Years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level 1 or higher required.
Must be proficient in Linux (RedHat) and Windows Server
Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired: Experience administering Microsoft (MS) Windows, Linux and RedHat Based systems, Use of Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA), and or MS SharePoint are a strong plus, but not required.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
