Kuhl Therapies is seeking a full time pediatric occupational therapist to join our neurodiverse team. We are a trans-disciplinary clinic which is unapologetically Anti-ABA who values collaboration and cooperation across therapists to treat our kiddos with a holistic and integrated approach. Therapist will be expected to be flexible and innovative with therapy approaches to best meet the child's individual needs. We truly function as a close knit team who work together on a day to day basis.

The Occupational Therapist- full time will be responsible for:
Performing evaluations independently and verifying appropriateness of therapy. Collaborating or referring to other disciplines as necessary

Reviewing patient medical history/record and selecting, administering and interpreting standardized tests and measurements in order to assess developmental, musculoskeletal, neurological and sensorimotor function.

Developing and implementing individualized client treatment. Establishing treatment goals

Preparing discharge plans and home treatment programs and providing instruction and education to patients and families. Monitoring treatment outcomes, modifying program as needed and communicating recommendations to other providers.

Recording assessments, diagnoses and treatment in patient medical record according to established documentation standards. Preparing reports, correspondence, referrals and other materials for schools, providers, payors and others as needed.

Developing clinical knowledge and skills through participation in professional development

Contributing to the teamwork and learning more about Physical Therapy and Speech therapy in order to carry over those goals into the occupational therapy sessions
Willing to embrace a neurodiverse mindset and be Anti-Aba

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $77,630.00 - $80,806.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
