A significant portion of their work comes from repeat clients and occurs in highly sensitive, occupied environments. They are currently looking to hire a Project Engineer.

Description

The Project Engineer - Occupied Healthcare Projects - MD will be responsible for:

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Technical Support: Provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, including design reviews and technical documentation.
  • Coordination: Liaise between different teams (design, procurement, and construction) to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any on-site challenges.
  • Risk Management: Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.

Profile

The Project Engineer - Occupied Healthcare Projects - MD will have:

  • at least 2 years of experience in construction
  • a bachelor's degree in construction or a related field preferred
  • occupied healthcare project experience preferred
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • strong organizational skills
