Job description

Piper Companies is currently searching for a Systems Engineer to work on a Hybrid Schedule in Columbia, MD for a company in the health and services space. The Systems Engineerwill be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure technologies and services.

Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer include:

Design, implement, and maintain Maxim's IT infrastructure technologies and services in collaboration with other Systems Engineers and Solution Architects.

Act as Third Tier support within the Enterprise Operations group to resolve production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop KBAs for further cases.

Provide advanced guidance to team members on technical matters, including focused product research and analysis when necessary.

Act as a thought leader for core technical competencies and provide direction across the team.

Assist in planning and designing technology solutions aligned with IT strategies to address business needs.

Required Qualifications for the Systems Engineer include:

Bachelor's Degree in a related area or 8-10 years of experience in the field.

Eight (8) years of direct experience with Microsoft products, including Windows Server, Exchange Server, and Active Directory.

Hands on experience with Okta and M365

Experience with Software Development Lifecycle, Project Management Lifecycle, and IT Service Management processes.

Compensation for the Systems Engineerinclude:

$48/hr - $58/hr Depends on level of degree/combined years of experience
