Position Summary:

Brighter,Stronger Foundation is looking for mental health therapists to provide quality, individualized treatment to our growing clientele .


What you'll do:

Department Operations Management

  • Oversee daily department operations, including facilities, transportation, budgeting, staff management, and HR liaison.
  • Ensure quality service delivery and program compliance with policies and regulations (COMAR, CARF).
  • Provide onsite coverage and participate in 24-hour on-call rotation.
  • Manage client service delivery at all locations and facilitate interest meetings.

Program Services & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Deliver excellent client and staff support.
  • Develop partnerships with stakeholders and community collaborators to promote program growth.
  • Serve on the BSF Emergency Response Team.

Recruitment & Staffing

  • Conduct interviews, recommend hires, and manage staff onboarding.
  • Oversee employee performance, disciplinary actions, and resolve complaints.
  • Act as a liaison for the Internship/Volunteer programs.

Staff Performance Management

  • Assign duties, monitor quality of work, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff.
  • Manage performance reviews, ensure staff accountability, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Promote staff growth in leadership and clinical excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with workflows and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Provide cross-departmental support in emergencies and staff turnover.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Clean driving record with no more than 2 points. Must have a satisfactory CJIS report.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE AND NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Education, or a related field of study with five (5) years of related experience Or
  • Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Education, or a related field of study with five (3) years of related experience
  • At least two (2) years' experience working in a Behavioral Health Care environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Solid relationship building capabilities with a positive and compassionate attitude.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative collaborator
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Must have knowledge of Internet and Google Suite
  • Must be able to be trained in Electronic Medical Record software.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems is a plus.
