Description Job Title: Project Manager Location: Fort Meade, Maryland Security Clearance: Active DoD Federal Secret with T3 Investigation Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, in alignment with organizational goals. Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful execution of projects, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments to meet project objectives. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and success criteria. Risk Management & Compliance: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes. Ensure all projects comply with DoD regulations, standards, and security requirements, including adherence to RMF guidelines. Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established processes and policies. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones. Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, presentations, and documentation to senior leadership and external stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners. Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure optimal use and alignment with project objectives. Oversee procurement activities related to project needs, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods and services. Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management. Evaluate completed projects to identify lessons learned and apply findings to future projects. Stay current on project management trends, tools, and techniques to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a DoD or classified environment. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale IT or cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Proficiency with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello. Familiarity with DoD regulations, RMF, and cybersecurity best practices. Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. Certifications (Preferred): Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification. ITIL Foundation or equivalent.
