For more information about DAWSON, please visit CBRN Equipment Lifecycle Manager Summary: The ideal candidate must be able toperform tasks in the functional areas of Lifecycle Program Manager (equipment) by providing support for the AFMED. Assist, support, and advise the AFMED SG4E Branch and Readiness Support Branch in budgeting, contracting, transportation, and maintenance in support of life cycle logistics support, biomedical/clinical engineering support in accordance with applicable statutes and regulations. This support includes, but is not limited to, planning, program management, financial analysis, life cycle management, biomedical/clinical engineering support, equipment maintenance, and maintenance contract services. 7 travel events are expected for a duration 3-5 days including travel days. Primary workplace is Fort Detrick, MD Job Description: Support the AFMED, Readiness Support and Clinical Engineering Branch, for contingency medical equipment and related assets found in the AF's Medical-Counter Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (MC-CBRN) program(s) or Consolidated Storage and Deployment Centers (CSDC), within current inventory, as well as assets being fielded. Provides total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for assigned contingency support systems. Establish and implement appropriate sustainment strategies in support of MC-CBRN assets. Coordinate and provide oversight of all contingency equipment Life Cycle Sustainment Plans. Provide support and oversight of Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), to include providing maintenance contract oversight, planning, and coordination for system upgrades. Assist in the implementation for processes to manage assigned CLS contracts from requirements identification to closure. Liaise between internal and external stakeholders and/or agencies to ensure requirements and projects are started and completed within established timeframes. Research Joint Medical Asset Repository (JMAR)/SG99/ Tri-Service Medical Excess Distribution Systems (TRIMEDs) for excess equipment for replacement of WRM equipment dispositioned, determine disposition for WRM equipment for turn-in and advise CE and Readiness Support branches of opportunities. Develop flow charts and guidance documentation for field use. Coordinate approvals for equipment evaluations and repairs between AFMS locations and vendors. Complete or assist in first article testing and planning within contracts and advise CE or Readiness Support Branches of outcomes for WRM, MC-CBRN, or CSDC replacement or new equipment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics or a related field, or an American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) or Program Management Institute appropriate certification (i.e. APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP). Two (2) years of related experience, training, or Equivalent to DoD Life Cycle Logistics Level II certification. Must be a qualified individual that possesses the knowledge, skills, and abilities to fully perform the duties and functions detailed for this position. Experience in life cycle sustainment, logistics program management, life cycle sustainment plans of equipment and project management Knowledge of contract and acquisition strategies and procedures, maintenance support contracts, writing and/or coordinating Performance Work Statements (PWS) in relation to life cycle sustainment activities Familiarity with AF contracting documentation requirements/business practices General knowledge of fiscal laws/requirements, equipment prioritization, tracking documenting equipment maintenance and repair activities This Position is Contingent upon the Award DAWSON is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/VEVRAA federal contractor.
