The Frederick News-Post, a leading news organization in Frederick, MD, is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Press Roll Tender to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing rolls of newsprint and ensuring that the press is ready for smooth and efficient production. If you re looking to work in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn, we are willing to train the right candidate for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and load rolls of newsprint into the press
• Assist with setting up the press for production runs
• Ensure the press is running efficiently and troubleshoot any minor issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work closely with the press operators to meet production deadlines

Qualifications:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Previous experience in a production or warehouse setting is a plus, but not required
