Job description

As a Work Center Monitor/Escort, the individual is responsible for camera .surveillance, server room cabinet access, facility environmental monitoring, and escorting within the IT facilities (server rooms and telecommunication closets). This is a first shift non-exempt (hourly) position. The shift is Sunday - Thursday, 7AM-3PM Responsibilities Escorts the location's tenants and vendors into the IT facilities and racks Monitors surveillance cameras in IT facilities to ensure all tenant activities are in compliance with guidelines (physical security, installation and decommission procedures, etc.) Supports authorized and emergency power and HVAC outages at the location Opens conference bridges to enable coordination and communication between multiple teams during authorized service interruptions Supports Power SMEs with outages and daily activities (change management, system admin, IT facility escorts) Operates server room rack security system. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: creating/running reports, generating new accounts, granting access to groups and/or individuals, removing users, setting account expiration dates Monitors IT facilities s and ensures all work is authorized Responsible for performing walkthroughs of server rooms and telecommunication closets to ensure that environments are within acceptable ranges, equipment is properly staged, there are no security issues. If there are issues identified, the analyst must communicate and escalate to the appropriate teams for action Generates daily reports to track server room activities, changes, and incidents All other duties assigned by OSC and governing contract office Required Qualifications/Education and Experience High School Diploma with three (3) or more years of experience in related field Must be able to receive or maintain a Secret personnel security clearance Proficiency in MS Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint Familiarity with JSP or similar DoD environment Ability to anticipate problems & take decisive action Strong time-management skills Strong communication skills and customer service orientation Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with JP312 ISSWC and JP312 Operations Manager Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience in related field TS/SCI personnel security clearance Additional Information Must be able to work 1st Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 7am-3pm Equal Employment Opportunity/M/F/disability/protected veteran status
