JOB TITLE: UAV PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN II DEPARTMENT: UAV PRODUCTION REPORTS TO: UAV PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT STATUS: FULL-TIME Job Summary: Under minimal Supervision, the UAV Production Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and assembly of all aircraft and related equipment. Integrate multiple payload configurations, perform modifications, and program aircraft systems and subsystems. Perform preventive maintenance, and repair of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical/ mechanical ground components. Duties/Responsibilities: Assemble, test, and integrate electromechanical components and subassemblies based on provided blueprints and drawings. Align, fit, and join component parts accurately, utilizing precision tools, calibrated hand tools and power tools. Unmanned aviation ground handling UAV launch and recovery as needed Perform maintenance, repair, and modifications of aircraft structures and components. Maintain equipment used to support aircraft mission efforts Maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems and subsystems Comply with production procedures and maintenance manual Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver's license 2-5 years of experience in this role Experience and capability to perform routine and preventative maintenance for aircraft systems/subsystems, and ground support equipment. Composite, structural, and/or mechanical repair experience Ability to work independently or as part of a team, collaborating with other engineers, pilots, and project managers to deliver reliable and effective UAV solutions Utilize fabrication machines including drill presses, band saws, upcut saws, press brakes, and metal cutting shears. Ability to read and understand drawings Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced working environment. Familiar with military aviation operations Ability to travel OCONOUS if needed. Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance
