Leidos Digital Modernization sector is looking for an Agile Release Train Engineer for the Army C5ISR Cyber Security Services Provider (CSSP) supporting the Defensive Cyber Solutions Branch (DCSB) program. This position is a telework position. Primary Responsibilities: Facilitate PI Planning
Facilitate all scrum sessions. Proactively identify, coordinate, and forecast opportunities for cross-team collaboration and emerging requirements. Ensure team execution is aligned with strategic priorities
Increase quality assurance and quality control for all delivery
Coordinate execution of all program teams to deliver improved user experience, govern technology requirements, and exceed business goals.
Provide guidance for technical aspects of the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure cross functional teams deliver value.
Provide mentoring to junior level employees and educate team on ART principals and best practices.
Monitor program performance and task execution; coordinate resolution of impediments; develop and implement process improvements.
Track capability development and feature deployment metrics.
Lead cross-team collaboration in support of development, testing, and deployment efforts.
Coordinate program-wide schedules and task execution for software/architecture releases with contractor SMEs and Government product owners.
Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive improvement through coordination between the Contractor's development team, the Government Product Owner, and key technical stakeholders.
Brief customers on the development progress throughout the Program Increment (PI) cycle on program status, including the status of testing, deployment, and release readiness.
Transition the program into a unified agile process supporting software development and hardware integration.
Integrate with engineering teams to review requirements and backlog to deliver to development teams. Basic Qualifications: Requires BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Direct experience with large-scale agile (e.g., Disciplined Agile Delivery, Large-scale Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework or Spotify model).
Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and promptly identify issues requiring discussion or triage.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, recognizing that meticulous task completion is paramount to success in the role.
Must possess an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe RTE or similar agile project management certification (PMI-ACP). Original Posting Date: 2024-10-29
