The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities include activities related to program CAD Operator/Draftsman such as: Basic Qualification: Creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering. Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards. Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards and ECN/ECR documentation. May work with system management including file maintenance, backup, and storage. Prepare and log engineering drawings (process spec and tooling drawings) An Active TS/SCI security clearance. High School Diploma/GED and five (5) to six (6) years of relevant experience. Familiar with MAC OS Systems and experience operating AutoCAD 2021 and 2022 Experience revising drawings based on instructions from engineers or architects. Experience Microsoft tools such as excel. Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, blueprints, product specifications, and geometric dimensioning tolerance (GD&T), Wide Diagrams, flow plans, network diagrams. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited technical trade-craft school is highly preferred. CompTIA certifications such as Network+, A+ or security+ is highly desired. Experience with SolidWorks. CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Compensation Spotlight: For this role, our typical salary range starts at $80,000 and stretches up to $120,000.
