Job description

Overview
The selected Senior Business Analyst will be involved with a variety of analytical and deliverable-development functions within the Department of Commerce portfolio. He/she will work closely with program management and customer organizations to identify customer needs and establish solutions to optimize delivery of products and services. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for developing process documents, conducting analysis, and preparing reports for service and product improvements. The Senior Business Analysis develops and presents analytical findings within compelling briefings and serves as the primary liaison between organizational operations and application/solution development processes and procedures. Responsibilities
Perform operations research analysis focused in Federal Human Resources.
Prepare professional quality PowerPoint presentations for Executive level meetings.
Analyze various data types and develop visualizations and reports to meet customer needs and timeline.
Arrange and participate in meetings to gather information for analysis and presentation of system solutions and process improvements.
Write and revise SOPs and provide training on SOPs.
Leverage data analytics to inform the design of measures of success against stated goals and objectives.
Recommend and develop compelling, logically structured reports, dashboards, models and presentations to inform people and business strategy.
Review project management, performance, and operational service processes to identify redundancy, opportunities for efficiency, effectiveness, or automation.
Undertake investigative work to determine business opportunities, and specify effective business processes.
Develop and provide related templates/tools to facilitate team and leadership communication related to the future tracking and reporting.
Consider the opportunities and risks attached to the recommendations and models created.
Apply available standards, methods and tools in an intelligent and effective way and produce a consistently high standard of documentation.
Provide input to and create on time reports.
Support Business Development activities by participating within proposal development.
Support Program Management processes including program management reviews and managing the risk and opportunities board.

Bachelor's Degree
Strong customer service/client facing skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Advanced skills working with Microsoft Office.
Human resources experience. Desired Qualifications
Graduate Degree
Advanced skill developing reports and dashboards.
Quantitative/qualitative analytical capabilities.
Problem solving skills.
Consensus building skills.
5-10 years of related experience.
Knowledge of full life-cycle Federal HR processes.
Proficiency in utilizing NFC, HRConnect, and ServiceNow data in operations research. Certifications
