CloudShape is experiencing rapid growth within our IT & Engineering Portfolio. We are currently seeking a talented Sr. AWS Systems Administrator to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and managing a secure, scalable, and highly available solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. We are seeking candidates who have the ability to be in a (Maryland and/or DC) office up to 25% of the year. To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position on a 10-year contract and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with CloudShape. Basic Qualifications:
At least eight (8) years of overall IT experience to include Windows System Administration (Active Directory, GPO, etc.) with a minimum of five (5) or more years AWS cloud experience.
Experience with designing, managing and deploying AWS services, including but not limited to EC2 (including Security Groups and Load Balancers), S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch while utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Proficient in using the AWS CLI, PowerShell, and/or Python, to identify and resolve issues in an AWS environment.
Strong system troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
US Citizen with an active secret security clearance is required.
An ability to work in person at offices within the DC/Maryland areas, up to 25% of the year. Preferred Qualifications:
