Job description

ProSync is seeking to hire a full-time member of our technical team to implement and support a comprehensive end-point management solution which includes:
• Patch management: automate the process of identifying and deploying software patches and security updates to endpoints, reduce the risk of security vulnerabilities and ensure systems are up to date.
• Software distribution: distribute and install software applications and updates to endpoints, ensuring systems are using the same versions of software and reducing the time and effort required for manual installations.
• Endpoint security: monitor endpoints for security threats, such as malware and unauthorized access attempts, and take automated actions to remediate any issues that are detected.
• Compliance management: ensure endpoints are configured and managed in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Overall, the Linux/Windows Systems Administrator's job will be to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of endpoint management in our organization, helping to reduce costs, improve security, and ensure compliance. What you'll be doing:
Support the design of end-point security on infrastructures and systems. Possess working knowledge of implementing tasks that establishes baseline and analysis to remediate, patch, or harden systems. • Consult and validate hardware and software configurations of required servers, relays, ports and firewall rules necessary for proper communication to endpoints, specific to Linux and Windows environments
• Install solutions which includes: server software, console software, web reports and WebUI components
• Activate necessary functionality with "Component Content" including Inventory, Lifecycle, Compliance components and other necessary functionalities for content management.
• Develop non-out of the box content using HCL end-point manager "Wizard" application content application, including testing and review of content for the corporate enclave
• Develop custom content specific for an enclave as directed.
• Review developed enclave content and provide recommendations to approve applicable content for use in the corporate enclave if useful to the enterprise
• Integrate end-point services into the network environment providing visibility into critical configuration items to the platform and provide the data in approved format. Requirements for the position:
• Familiarity on deploying, solutioning, enabling and assisting with projects involving endpoint management such as BigFix, Tivoli, HCL or similar (we can provide training on this).
• Experience with System Administration and client support
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows-based Operating Systems
• A Security+ or similar IAT Level II or higher certification is required to qualify.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance with recent Full Scope Polygraph (within 2 years of service) Desired Experience:
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Understanding of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture for Department of Defense)
• Writing Software Test Plans
• Serving as Primary Interface to OEM and Software Development Teams
• Strong customer service background
