Description & Requirements Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area to support Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). This is an ONSITE position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting NAWCAD initiative by applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems. Responsible for reviewing and assisting in preparation of engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applying systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Assist in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, or evaluating software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems. Minimum Qualifications: An Associates of Science (A.S.) or Associates of Arts (A.A.) in a technical or scientific area 1+ years of experience in a systems engineer role performing system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition & resource management 1+ years of experience analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, or evaluating software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of systems, associated support systems, or management information systems Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and methodologies Knowledge of how system requirements, design, analysis, verification & validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the engineering lifecycle Experience with the use of SysML Preferred Qualifications: Experience using MBSE tools such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator Has taken a SysML modeling language course Clearance Requirements: Must be a US Citizen Top Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract Physical Requirements: Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. Zoom, TEAMS) Must be able to report to customer and/or ManTech work location daily The projected compensation range for this position is $80,900.00-$134,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
