MAG is looking for a Software Developer, to developing software for an advanced synthetic training environment. This software is integrated into flight simulators to support pilot training against potential threats. You will support software development, software integration, customer training and demonstrations. Must be a US Citizen Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to : Works within existing DevOps environment, including automated builds, testing, and deployment of software on multiple OS platforms Evaluates and reviews C and C++ language code Programming using C and C++ Develops software requiring parallel processing, threading, inter-process communication Develops software to simulate complex environments or platforms in real-time Collaborates with team members to design future enhancements Requirements Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills The required skills and knowledge include: Experience with scripting, database, and in programming in C or C++ Demonstrates a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design Education The minimum level of education required is: BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering may qualify. Desired Requirements The desired skills, knowledge, and education include: Experience with Python3, CMake, CUDA, threaded programming, and/or modelling and simulation is a plus Experience with Software CM tools to include git Experience with Network-connected software development Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments Other Qualifications Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include: Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance Special Note The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
