Job description

LINUX System Administrator II! Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required Mission: Implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF). Series of applications that fill in various gaps of the agency's RMF needs to include System Registration, Exemption Tracking, Patch Management, and System Monitoring. System Monitoring makes up the bulk of the work they do on a day-to-day basis. This distribution of applications, in conjunction with external partner apps results in difficulties for users navigating the RMF process. Current process forces users to jump from website to website filling out different pieces of information. Tasked with creating a unified RMF infrastructure that can hold the entire process in one location. System Administrator II Description: • As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, the project will develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration and deployment • Support the project's compliance and security posture. • Focus on delivering the automation that enables all the other teams to operate smoothly. Required Qualifications: Strong experience in: o Linux system administration o Docker o AWS, C2S, or other cloud experience o GitLab Pipeline o Ansible Pipeline Preferred Qualifications: Elasticsearch • Cloud hosting and automation Minimum Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline • 10 years' experience as a SA in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity • 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree Can also apply by sending resume to .
