To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Job Description The CI/HUMINT Research Analyst within the C5ISR team at HII Mission Technologies supports missions at Fort Meade, MD, and plays a crucial role in advancing counterintelligence (CI) and human intelligence (HUMINT) operations supporting HUMINT in Cyber Compliance Program. This position involves gathering, evaluating, and interpreting data from diverse sources to provide actionable intelligence that informs defense strategies related to cyberspace. The ideal candidate has a strong background in CI/HUMINT processes and methodologies. The role requires active understanding, skills, training and senior level expertise engaging in CI/HUMINT operations and technical support measures; this position requires past and current active experience as a HUMINT Subject Matter Expert. This also requires a deep understanding of Operations Security (OPSEC) and how it is integral to effective global operations and support. Essential Job Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on counterintelligence and human intelligence operations, threats, and trends.
Develop detailed reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to interpret complex intelligence data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including military personnel and other intelligence analysts, to gather and validate information.
Support planning, coordination, and execution of CI/HUMINT operations.
Monitor and evaluate emerging intelligence threats and adversary tactics to inform proactive countermeasures.
Assist in the development of policy recommendations and strategic plans to enhance CI/HUMINT capabilities.
Provide subject matter expertise on HUMINT operations, technical support measures for HUMINT, and the role of Operations Security (OPSEC) in global HUMINT efforts.
Minimum Qualifications 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. At least 9 years working in virtual counterintelligence (CI) operations and supporting federal defensive cybersecurity operations AND/OR
At least 9 years of familiarity with virtual social media platforms in support of national mission objectives and goals.
9+ years of experience in CI/HUMINT Operations (tradecraft)
Active TS/SCI security clearance required; Must have a CI Polygraph
Preferred Requirements 15 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 12 years with a Master's degree; 8 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma and 13 years relevant experience. Experience working directly as a Counterintelligence Agent and Human Intelligence Collector personnel.
Knowledge of DoD CI/HUMINT policies and structure.
Familiarity with emerging intelligence technologies and their applications in CI/HUMINT.
DoD cybersecurity coursework and certifications demonstrating comfort with databases, technologies, and methods of support to virtual operations.
Career based in HUMINT and Cyber operations
HUMINT Qualifications such as: DATC, DHOQC, ASOT Level III, SOC, MAGTAF CI/HUMINT, or others with likeness certification
Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
Must be able to work in a Classified SCIF environment
