Job Type Full-time Description Primary Work Location: Patuxent River, MD 20670 (Primary) / Telecommuter/Any State, US Must be a U.S Citizen Clearance: Top Secret Contingent Upon Contract Award Obsidian Solutions group is seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator to join the team! We are looking for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator with demonstrated experience in managing, monitoring, and maintaining an organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, software, and user access. Working with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals with leading-edge technologies. Specific Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain an organization's LAN, WAN, data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
Requirements Active Top-Secret Clearance
BS/BA degree
8 years of network and computer system administrator experience
4 years of the experience with distance learning and knowledge management related technologies
Physical Requirements and Work Environment Normal office environment.
Travel Requirements 0 - 10%
