Position Type: Full-Time / Contingent On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training/tasking may require occasional on-site work at Patuxent River, MD. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. Essential Functions: Researches, designs, develops, or tests computer or computer-related equipment for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Supervises the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components. Evaluates Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) hardware products. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: Required: Experience providing hardware engineering support required. At least seven (7) years of experience performing work related to the essential functions. Security Clearance: Must have an active or interim secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Education: BS degree in Computer Science or related field OR has one of the following identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications: CCSP; CCNA; CCNP; CASP+; GCED; GCIH; GCIA; GCLD; GDSA; FITSP-O-NG; GFACT; GSEC; GICSP; GSEC; or SSCP Spalding Consulting, Inc. is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees.
