Senior Production Quality Engineer Location: Patuxent River, MD (Hybrid/Onsite) Description: HigherEchelon is seeking a motivated Senior Production Quality Engineer to support The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Systems Engineering Department (SED) team in Patuxent River, MD. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities: Applies engineering knowledge to properly develop planning required to ensure the product meets specifications. Quality planning involves development and understanding process FMEAs and design FMEAs as an example. Will develop control plans, determine inspection equipment needs and participate in the development of automated test procedures. Performs tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks. Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, training and other technical documentation. Required Skills: Experience developing training and have trained civilian personnel in topics such as production engineering, quality planning, and inspection requirements. Requires knowledge of production engineering, process flow, specific process knowledge and the ability to interact with design engineers in an intelligent manner. Must be a US Citizen
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance Education: Position requires a Technical MS or MA degree in an Engineering or Applied Sciences discipline.
