JOB DESCRIPTION Seeking a highly motivated, driven, and talented Web Application System Administrator (Windows/Unix) to work Onsite 1-2 Days Per Week supporting our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical support for application software running on servers
Perform installation, integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, security implementation, documentation, and configuration management of websites and application systems hosted on Windows and Unix-based servers
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server and software issues
Provide direct support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, government entities and related internal and external teams
Follow and implement client's Information Security's standards to ensure the software and server environment is secure and protected from unauthorized access
Other duties as assigned or required REQUIREMENTS 4+ years of experience in Unix & Windows web/systems administration
Experience working with Windows Servers 2016/2019, Internet Information Services (IIS), and Red Hat Linux (Apache - Open Source) servers containing over 200 production applications: Cloud & on-prem, Unclass/Class networks, and supporting public-facing websites using serverless solutions
Installation/configuration of web and application server software
Troubleshooting of server/software issues
Knowledge of DISA STIGS and Security Policies ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s) CompTIA Security+ SECURITY CLEARANCE Active Secret with ability to obtain TS/SSBI EDUCATION High School Diploma with an additional 4+ years of related experience BENEFITS Generous PTO & Leave Package
