Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Agawam, MA
Job Type: Full-Time which is 37.5 hours per week
Compensation: $21-25/hour

CFS is working with a mission-driven organization committed to supporting survivors of domestic violence. Their team provides crucial resources, advocacy, and care to those in need. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their small finance team, working alongside two other colleagues.

• The Accounts Receivable Specialist will work with the AP Specialist who CFS placed, and an accountant.
• 1/2 Day Fridays during the June-July

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Accurately process donations, grants, and other incoming payments.
• Maintain detailed records of all receivables and ensure timely deposits.
• Reconcile donations and accounts to ensure all incoming funds are accounted for and properly categorized.
• Communicate with donors regarding payments and donation receipts.
• Manage grant billing and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to track and record donations accurately.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Commitment to the mission of supporting domestic violence survivors.
