Job description
Position Summary Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Configuration and CDRL Data Manager (CM/DM) providing support to the NC3 Contract and specifically the NCS division. The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with an operating location at Kirtland AFB, NM. The NC3 Directorate's mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. It consists of an Executive Section, Engineering (EN), Financial Management (FM), Operations Management (OM), Information Protection (IP), Contracts (PK), Cyber, Logistics (LG), the Program Execution Group (PEG) and Intelligence (IN). The Strategic Communications Division (NCS) develops nuclear survivable terminals capable of communicating with the Milstar and Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite constellations and future satellite constellations using both the Extremely High Frequency (EHF) and AEHF waveforms. This is a full time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Own and maintain the configuration baseline for all incoming government documents Conduct and support Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) Collaborate with contractors to verify specifications and ensure adherence to diagrams and technical requirements during builds Provide configuration management for program artifacts and ensure documentation accuracy. Support cross-functional teams and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Technical Review Boards (TRBs) Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Management: Track data item deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of data CDRL Compliance: Monitor contractor adherence to CDRL requirements and ensure integrity of deliverable Oversee the Configuration Management USAP Self Inspection Checklists, input results in MICT Support Licensing tasks and packaging and delivering of software to users Provide QA checks on system baselines, to include: integrity of the baseline including major releases, minor releases, patches, and software maintenance Track Change Requests (CRs) and Discrepancy Reports (DRs)/Problem Reports (PRs) Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications Education: BA/BS Degree or MA/MS Degree Years of Experience: 3-10 years of experience Proven experience in configuration management within a DoD environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage complex data sets and documentation processes. Proficiency in configuration audits, baseline management, and CDRL oversight Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe for document management Familiarity with CDRL management processes Preparation and orchestrating major events such as, but not limited to, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Program Design Review (PDRs), Critical Design Review (CDRs), PCAs, FCAs, and CCBs. Technical Skills Detail-oriented Experience with Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCA/FCA) Strong engineering or technical background Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Recommend/document comprehensive configuration management plans for software, hardware, firmware, and peripherals for IT systems. Maintain distribution lists of points of contact (POCs) of CDRL data deliverables for the program method of transmittal (i.e., a common mailbox, Integrated Digital Environment IDE , CD-ROM, etc.). Receive and distribute CDRL data deliverables. Audit and review IT system configurations. Perform studies and monitoring effectiveness of configuration management plans to identify potential and existing problems and make recommendations for resolution. Analyze data and prepare plans and briefings in support of software-driven systems.
