Job description

Position Summary Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Data Business Analyst providing support to the NC3 Contract and specifically the NCN Division. The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with an operating location at Kirtland AFB, NM. The NC3 Directorate's mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. It consists of an Executive Section, Engineering (EN), Financial Management (FM), Operations Management (OM), Information Protection (IP), Contracts (PK), Cyber, Logistics (LG), the Program Execution Group (PEG) and Intelligence (IN). The NCN Division Front Office Group supports division leadership oversight of all programs and personnel within NCN, including reviewing, disseminating, and ensuring adherence to DoD, Air Force, AFMC, and AFNWC acquisition and organizational policy or direction. This group includes a business operations function, administrative support for the division leadership, technical support for all programs within the division, and organizational support for all personnel across the division. This is a full time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Use business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools like Tableau, Qlik Sense, PMRT, Tableau and Power BI. Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques through use of tools like Microsoft Excel and new tools like Qlik Sense, PMRT, Tableau and Power BI. Apply basic principles and analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis. Analyze and process data, while creating and maintaining models and report templates and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions using data engineering tools like Databricks or low-code-no-code applications such as Microsoft Power Apps, Automate and Dataverse. Recommend and implement appropriate performance measures to be produced, including efficiencies and other statistical metrics. Provide customers with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis for program, financial and acquisition management activities. Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Clearance 3+ years of experience with data visualization, data management, data governance, data strategy, data policy or data engineering. 2+ years of experience with design, creation and maintenance of data analytics and visualization platforms using Tableau and Power BI. 2+ years of experience with client engagement, identifying requirements, and implementing analytics and visualization solutions. Experience with querying or analyzing data to answer questions and solve problems. Experience with visualizing data to identify or communicate key insights. Knowledge of business analysis or business intelligence tools or approaches. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing organizational processes. Preferred Qualifications Education: BA/BS Degree or MA/MS Degree in techincal field or analytical field Years of Experience: 3-10 years of experience Experience with Microsoft Power Query, Databricks or SQL for data engineering. Experience with app development in Power Apps, Automate, and Dataverse. Ability to synthesize results and deliver presentations to product owners or stakeholders.
