Job description

Position Summary Odyssey Systems is recruiting for a Financial Manager supporting the Special Access Programs communities. This position will support DoD financial management, budget formulation (building a budget), budget enactment, budget execution and contract closeouts. The Odyssey team provides evolving programmatic, financial, engineering, cybersecurity management and analytical solutions to the Special Programs Division Advanced Technology Branch. We augment the Branch's organic capabilities with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support. Personnel perform work that is an integral part of day-to-day operation across the portfolio to include both legacy and new capabilities. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Assist, prepare, and deliver documents in support of a variety of financial management activities to include, but not limited to: Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Executing (PPBE), Program Types, and tracking data Knowledge of financial management and accounting functions, processes, and analytical methods and techniques to gather, analyze, evaluate and present information as required Maintain program budget and all other financial tracking documentation Able to perform budget forecasting tasks, variance identification and analysis, program or financial execution reporting and reviews Manage unliquidated obligations (ULO) Document preparation for Spring Execution Review (SER) Fiscal Year Closeout Assistance Manage & track unfunded requirements Ability to track expiring/cancelling funds Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret level Clearance (Investigation within the last 6 years) Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience Preferred Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree Additional Information Location: Hanscom AFB, MA (This position is 100% onsite) Travel: 5% Company Overview Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, is an innovative small business committed to providing world-class technical, management, and training support services to government and public sector clients.
