We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Execution Group Chief to support the Aerospace Management Systems Division (AFLCMC/HBA) which is within the USAF Digital Directorate and located at Hanscom AFB, MA. WORK LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA WORK STATUS: Full time : salaried Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have an Active Secret Clearance Responsibilities: Directly oversee activities of division front office contractor team: two Business Process managers; personnel and training manager; executive administrative support person. Regularly review and update current Division policies and develop new policies. Monitor division processes for sufficiency and efficiency and make modifications, as needed. Regularly review policy letters and update as needed to establish and maintain good order and discipline for division processes. Communicate division-level requirements to lower management levels and assist in implementation of effective processes to meet those requirements. Perform review of all staff packages and formal correspondence for applicability, completeness, format, and overall quality. Perform appropriate coordination prior to delivery to the division chief. Initiate and guide efforts to improve division business processes. Review acquisition documents and provide comments with programmatic perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy. Documents may include, but are not limited to, ADMs, LCSP, Acquisition Strategies, APBs, Risk Management Plans, PMRs, and milestone decision briefings. Act as liaison between lower-level leadership and Division leadership for the efficient movement of information, correspondence, and direction. Support, prepare, review, and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory acquisition reports and milestone review documentation as identified in DoDI 5000.02. Develop and coordinate program correspondence and additional documentation utilizing the Life Cycle Management Plan (LCMP) Document Workflow process. Plan all aspects of the annual Division offsite meeting, eg establish the agenda, coordinate attendee list, arrange offsite facility; etc. Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have an Active Secret Clearance Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force.
Significant experience in DoD acquisition programs.
Experience with executive-level responsibilities.
