We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Project Scheduler to support the Tactical Data Networks Enterprise (TDNE), which is within the Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA. Position has been approved for Hybrid work status whereby requiring staff to come into the office 1-2 days per week WORK LOCATION: Hanscom, AFB, MA JOB STATUS: Full-Time; salaried CITIZENSHIP: Must be a US citizen. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have an active US security clearance. RESPONSBILITIES: Plan, build, coordinate, and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for division programs and projects and/or provide technical assistance to program/project managers. Communicate and coordinate IMS activities among the functional disciplines and programs within the division. Provide IMS technical products (e.g., GANTT charts, network diagrams, etc.) as required for division level leadership. Ensure integrated schedule management technical support to system acquisition processes and collaborate and incorporate key schedule requirements to ensure mission success. Support program/project requirements development, plan preparation, and assess ability to achieve results. Communicate schedule objectives, plans, and status to the customer, the project team, and management. Advance understanding and working knowledge of project scheduling tools, specifically Microsoft Project and Project Server. Ability to review, evaluate, and make recommendations on project schedules (IMS) submitted by vendor contractors for completeness, logic, and critical path(s) Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.) Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Advanced degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience (5 DoD), or BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience (5 DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience (8 DoD). Must be a US citizen. Must have an active US security clearance.
