Job description

Electrical and Wiring Assembler responsible for the assembly of electrical panels and cabinets.

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED required

    Electrical and Wiring Assembler Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, wiring/block diagrams.

  • Experience with basic hand tools, air tools, gages, torque wrenches and mechanical assemblies.

  • Physical Ability: Capable to lift up to 26 pounds on a regular basis, stand for long periods of time and ability to reach overhead, pull, push and bend at times.

  • Communicate, write, and speak effectively in English

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Previous Assembly/Manufacturing experience preferred

    Electrical and Wiring Assembler Job Duties

  • Assemble and wire electrical panels and cabinets using a variety of hand and/or power tools and crimping of small gauge wires.

  • Performs electrical wiring assembly on medium to large sized parts or panels.

  • Read and review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

  • Responsible for ensuring that work order protocols are followed, and that work order paperwork is completed as the work is performed.

  • Follow 5S and company performance system (Continuous Improvement) principles and practices

  • Embrace and be a part of a team focused on safety, quality, customers, and productivity.

  • Collaborate with Engineering on poke yoke, continuous improvement, process, training, and other measures within the group.
