The Role
This Financial Analyst (FA) role is a member the Fidelity Wealth (FW) Cash Solutions Finance Team and will be responsible for delivering impactful and insightful financial analysis to measure and evaluate the financial performance of the business. This role is highly analytical and requires an individual who can multi-task in a fast-paced and highly complex organization. The ability to partner and collaborate with the FW Cash Solutions organization, FW central finance, senior leaders, accounting, and other finance organizations is a necessity. The role is responsible for analyzing headcount / expense trends and assists with the forecast and budgeting process. This position plays a lead role in month-end financial activities.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent
- 2+ years of professional experience in Finance with a successful track record in financial modeling and analysis
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to apply these skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize key points and effectively communicate findings
- Successfully collaborate with business partners and work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible and work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) with experience in Tableau, Anaplan, Power BI, and Think Cell. Experience in Technology Business Management (TBM) a plus. and an introductory knowledge of Snowflake
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with Finance, Bank, and business partners at varying levels of the organization
- A self-motivated teammate who brings energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity
- Keen ability to envision the "big picture" while maintaining close attention to detail
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, working independently to perform most analyses
- Strong attention to detail and ownership for managing large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy

- Ability to take initiative and seek creative solutions that challenge conventional approaches
- Confidence with demonstrated success communicating with impact to others across the organization

The Value You Deliver
- Support FW Cash Solutions headcount/expense management & analysis
- Prepare monthly accrual entries
- Ownership of key performance metric reporting, analytics, and insights
- Providing analyses and strategic recommendations to management and business partners
- Synthesizing data, analyses, and conclusions into presentation format for senior management
- Finding opportunities to streamline work processes to make the team more efficient and effective
- Proactive partnership and communication with business and Finance partners
- Using tools and business knowledge to continuously provide insightful information, reporting and analytics that evolve with changes in the business
- Preparing Purchase Orders with Rate and Volume Analyses
- Analyze TBM Data, assist with Quarterly Technology Review Forecasting
