Human Resources Business Partner Division: HR / Private Family office Ref ID: R Location: Boston, MA 02210 Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 9 am - 5 pm Site: Must be flexible to work in an office setting and travel to various locations and sites based on the support required at that time, for interviewing and onboarding. Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resource Business Partner to support our organization's human resources and household staffing needs
This role will ensure compliance with HR policies, manage the recruitment and hiring process, and drive employee engagement initiatives across multiple properties
The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling day-to-day HR operations and have a strong understanding of employment law and talent management practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and performance assessments for all staff.
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring of qualified candidates for open positions, collaborating with managers to identify required skills and competencies.
  • Visit staff periodically across various properties to promote employee engagement and ensure a positive working environment.
  • Implement new hire orientation programs and employee recognition initiatives.
  • Administer and execute HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, training, and development.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from staff and refer complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies to maintain compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR and employment law.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resource management is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related HR software.
  • Valid US work authorization
