WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) on the Topic Activation Track focused on the Next Gen ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) offer, you will work closely with business leaders and the ERP Knowledge Team Lead to support the growth of the ERP Center of Excellence (CoE) and the commercialization of the Next Gen ERP offer. You will help develop intellectual property and reusable assets (e.g., methods, tools, etc.) that will be leveraged on ERP cases. Additionally, you will utilize your ERP expertise to strategically assists clients in their transformation journey by working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory. You will serve as a thought partner and content expert to topic/sector leaders and case teams, helping structure and solve complex issues.

Next Gen ERP is BCG's holistic approach to help our clients create value from the complex and costly core systems program in a rapidly changing world. We re-connect these programs to value: growth, process agility, data availability, and sustainability. We use the Data & Digital Platform (DDP) thinking to design ERP implementations and migrations that:

  • Secure incremental transition leveraging DDP, our layered architecture approach
  • Unlock clients' data - which typically sits within the core - for the realization of digital use cases
We also de-risk and accelerate ERP programs combining the best of agile methodology and rigorous governance. We help our clients navigate the complexity of the ecosystem by offering independent advice. We enable our clients, helping them build the capability to own their core and create sustainable performance.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Industry and software research, trend analysis and benchmarking
  • Solving complex client problems through relevant analytical approaches, customized solutions and functional expertise (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc.) within ERP business transformations
  • Understanding the tech and data requirements of an ERP transformation
  • Considering industry perspectives to support the development and maintenance of knowledge assets (e.g. ERP in Chemicals/Consumer Products Goods/etc., ERP assets/tools/playbooks, etc.), based on different client context
  • Communicating with different stakeholders in a credible and confident way
  • Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
  • Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
  • Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • 1-2+ years of ERP business consulting experience required (e.g., ERP strategy, business/tech target picture, setting up the PMO, etc.); candidates with consulting experience are preferred
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum industry experience required; 3-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end ERP transformations with a focus on strategy and business processes gained through hands-on experience
  • Experience in internal asset and product development is a plus
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Signavio is a plus
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
  • Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
  • Fluency in English

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
