The Real Estate team manages more than 10 million square feet of space in the United States and overseas, including 12 major North American and 4 major international locations, 4 critically important data centers and more than 200 retail investor centers.



The Purpose of Your Role

As a Space Data Analyst, you join the Space Management & Planning team within the Project Design and Delivery function. This team is responsible for establishment and maintenance of all processes to collect, update, and audit space data across the portfolio. This data is used for all aspects of planning from long term decision making to tactical execution.

You will be responsible for identifying, gathering, and analyzing data to improve data accuracy, support planning, and drive insights on how our space is being occupied and used. You will partner across the organization to provide timely and accurate assessments on various data points and evolve ongoing reporting of space data. You will support the entire Real Estate organization with analysis & recommendations on how we might improve space usage and planning.



The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Proficiency with technology and data visualization tools, including high level of proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Experience collating & managing large data sets from various sources to analyze, create reports with actionable insights, prioritize opportunities and showcase improvements
  • Focus on creation and implementation of processes, workflows, and documentation designed to drive continuous improvement in space data accuracy
  • Knowledge of current real estate data standards, planning metrics, and industry trends
  • Passion for story telling through data about workspace and space usage
  • Proven creative problem-solving skills and curiosity to look at multiple outcomes to arrive at the best recommendation
  • Experience using Fidelity s IWMS, Tango, existing reporting, and exposure to Workplace Occupancy sensor data is a plus
  • Close working relationships with existing partners; Operations and Facility teams, RE Strategy & Analytics/Insights, Design, Project Delivery, Associate Labs, Dynamic Working, and Workforce Planning
  • BA / BS or equivalent experience in Real Estate, Finance, Analytics, Design, Business or other related degrees or certifications
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, respect, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, critical thinking, collaboration, inclusion, curiosity, and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to travel to various Fidelity sites as needed (less than 20% of the time)
