Job description
The Role
As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will play a key role in providing performance testing services across a diverse set of applications, technologies, and teams. You will work closely with teams to test/deploy and optimize applications prior to its release and monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in production.

- Provide insight on application Performance defects and Performance Test Sign-offs for release.
- Actively participate in ongoing production calls to analyze and triage infrastructure or application related issues.
- Work with our global team and provide feedback on performance.
The Expertise You Bring In
- 5+ years of experience as a Performance Engineer
- Extensive hands-on experience with performance engineering, including use of JMeter, Gatling or similar tools.
- In-Depth knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, EKS
- Experience working with Datadog for monitoring, troubleshooting, creating dashboards and alerts
- Experience with Continuous Testing and integrating into a CICD pipeline
- Comfortable with tools like SQL developer and running SQL queries for data analysis and monitoring
- Experience working in Agile Environment
- Self-motivated and collaborative in your approach
- Superb communication skills to work with various teams across US and India
- Able to clearly communicate test results, findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
The Skills that are Good to Have for this role
- Understanding of Kubernetes concepts
- Java development background
- Automating performance testing through CICD pipeline is preferred
- Kafka understanding
- Unix and Shell Scripting Basics
