Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room team at a leading Short-Term Acute Care facility in Burlington, MA. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a high-paced, Level I Trauma Center that is well-equipped with advanced technology, including Epic EMR. You'll play a critical role in providing top-notch emergency care at a hospital known for its commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
  2. Quickly assess and triage patients, determining the severity of conditions and prioritizing care accordingly.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, specialists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.
  6. Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
  1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in a high-acuity setting.
  3. BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC and CEN certifications preferred.
  4. Proficiency with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems.
  5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
