About the role:

Join Takeda's Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) U.S. Business Unit as an Associate Director, Institutional Franchise Value & Operations. This dynamic role oversees a portfolio of eight strategic brands for the U.S. PDT Business Unit. As part of the team, you will be the commercial liaison and leader responsible for the forecasting of supply and demand for eight brands, and drive launch planning, contracts and pricing, and supply-related activities. You will report to the Institutional Channel and Value Marketing Director.

How you will contribute:
  • Collaborate with U.S. Commercial, US Supply Chain, Finance, Operations and Trade Partners to ensure sustainable and reliable supply, relative to sales, across portfolio of products for customers

  • Lead supply and demand modeling, including scenario planning, to optimize product availability and meet market demands

  • Develop and manage the creation of talking points and field training materials for sales teams on various topics, including pricing and supply, in collaboration with Corporate Communications and other relevant subject matter experts

  • Drive launch planning activities for key products for the institutional channel with close collaboration with cross-functional partners, to execute successful launch and market penetration

  • Manage product allocation across customers, including executing refresh and roll-out in coordination with customer service team and field sales to optimize end-customer distribution

  • Lead the preparation for weekly contract and pricing meetings and conduct in-depth assessments of brand performance against strategic targets

  • Refine and analyze strategies to guide the development of annual business cases for the PDT product portfolio, including the second largest brand for USBU.

  • Stay informed of various data sources and market research reports to proactively identify risks and opportunities

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • BA or BS with a minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics, finance, marketing, or related function in the pharmaceutical industry required.

  • Strategic thinker with a highly analytical mindset: Capable of developing frameworks for problem-solving, synthesizing data, and driving actionable recommendations

  • Detail-oriented and proficient in financial modeling and analysis

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to view issues from multiple functional perspectives

  • Effective communicator with proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams

  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and implementing new workflows and processes to drive change

Additional Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience and/or knowledge of the plasma-derived therapies (PDT) market, including an understanding of product usage by sites of care, reimbursement, pricing, and distribution channels is a plus

  • Strong scientific knowledge and clinical acumen

  • Engage with scientific concepts, understand them, and translate them into commercial insights and strategic recommendations

  • Innovative mindset: Entrepreneurial, creative, resourceful, and proactive

  • Willingness to travel to various meetings and conferences, including overnight trips 10%

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$149,100.00 - $234,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
