Job Number 676685BR Description:Lockheed Martin's Chelmsford Operations facility is a leading hub for innovation in microelectronics, supporting critical aerospace and defense programs. Located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, our team is dedicated to producing advanced technology solutions that safeguard national security and advance the industry. What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will become part of the Buy planning team in Chelmsford. You'll join a select group of individuals who are responsible for providing support to numerous Chelmsford programs. You will be responsible for implementing material flow strategies for consumables, RF components, and PWBs in support of existing and new IAMD programs. You must be a self-starter, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have the ability to lead projects from conception to closure. You will work closely with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and Make Planners to ensure that deliveries meet program needs. The Locale: Chelmsford is a charming suburb of Boston located about 25 miles northwest of that city. Chelmsford is very close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Nashua, New Hampshire. Chelmsford is within reach of New Hampshire's White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH are about an hour east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England Chelmsford is about 90 minutes from Cape Cod. Boston is about 30 minutes to the east without traffic. New York City is about 4.5 hours away from Chelmsford. Waterville Valley and other major ski resorts of New Hampshire and Vermont are about 2 to 3 hours to the north. It should be noted that Chelmsford, Massachusetts is approximately 35 miles northwest of the Boston metropolitan area and offers better access to a wide range of substantially more affordable regions in the area to live. Those regions include Northeastern and North Central Massachusetts, and Southern, New Hampshire. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship
• 2+ years in a production operations environment
• Experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on multiple platforms (face-to-face, virtually, email, Teams, etc.)
• Experience with ERP/MRP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Desired Skills:
• Completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas
• Demonstrated ability to work well in both a team environment and alone
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and ability to manage various tasks under time-sensitive constraints
• Demonstrated ability to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Understanding of MRP and Manufacturing Execution Systems
• Working knowledge of SAP and Apriso WM
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
• Green Belt trained/certified
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
