Job description

NFI Massachusetts Inc., a human service organization, is currently seeking a full time In-Home Family Therapist to work at one of its community-based programs based in Danvers, MA.

NFI's North Shore Continuum (NSC) is an intensive, therapeutic wraparound service that is designed to support youth who experience emotional and behavioral challenges to live safely and successfully in their home community as well as to support their caregivers. Funded by the Department of Children and Families, NSC works with youth (ages 5-18) and their families. NSC services are designed to be flexible to meet the unique needs of youth and families, offering an array of services including treatment and outreach; assessment of family strengths, needs, and culture; treatment planning; family systems therapy; skills training; care coordination; and crisis intervention with on-call responsibilities. NSC utilizes two evidence-based programs, ARC and High Fidelity Wraparound, to ensure the best outcomes for youth and families.

The therapist carries a caseload of 5-6 families and is teamed up with a Bachelor's level outreach worker and also in some instances a peer specialist. The therapist's primary responsibilities include facilitation of family and caregiver sessions, crisis prevention/intervention, assessment of youth/family strengths and needs, safety & treatment plan development and implementation, and clinical collaboration with collaterals. Therapists are responsible for providing on-call support to their assigned families during weekdays and participate in a weekend on-call rotation for the program.
