Job Description:

Seeking a full-time licensed social worker to join our multi-faceted medical healthcare team within an embedded behavioral health center. Daily tasks would include initial evaluations for new patients; ongoing work with individuals, couples, groups, and families; and working with a wide age range of patients.

Summary of Duties:

The LCSW or LICSW will be expected to be responsible for the following:

Provides clinical social work and mental health services, including basic counseling for medical, academic, financial and general life-style assistance

Responsible for maintaining and documenting all encounters of medical patients referred by provider and maintaining all confidentiality requirements of sensitive personal information as mandated by HIPAA and/or any other regulations

Implement appropriate intervention based on ongoing assessment of the patient

Works in collaboration within our provider network in ensuring a continuum of care for patients and manages patients to provide desired outcomes

Provide appropriate case management, counseling, referral, and follow-up for tracking clients

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

Master's Degree in Social Work or mental health counseling from an accredited college or university

Active Massachusetts state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

Experience working in a clinical setting in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling

Satisfactory completion of continuing education credits as mandated by any professional boards, licensing agencies, or credentialing organizations

Basic computer skills

Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44.84 - $48.87 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
