This role will be in charge of overseeing the product as a whole and making sure that it is market ready, while also managing over a team under them to assure the Quality Engineering department is running as smooth and efficiently as possible.

Description

  • Auditing and overseeing the implementation of the QA program with the use of ISO 9001:2015
  • Managing the product life cycle and conducting procedures and reviews to maintain and improve the product
  • A lot of collaboration and regulating with team members on the products being produced
  • Using hazard analysis to verifying and inspect the critical control points
  • Using statistical process control methods to prepare quality documentation
  • Reports to the VP of Engineering while having direct reports reporting to this role
  • Manage the training, scheduling and evaluating of employees
  • Performance and documentation of analysis of different variances and data specification compliance issues

Profile

  • B.S. Degree required (Engineering preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality
  • ISO QA standards experience
  • Experience with lean manufacturing activities
  • ISO Internal Auditor certified
  • Problem solving skills using methods such as 8-D
  • Familair with PPAP, PFMEA, APQP, SPC, MSA, etc.
