Description

• Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Oversee and execute performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee development.
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement succession plans, identifying key talent and supporting long-term growth.
• Collaborate with departments to assess workforce needs and develop strategies for meeting staffing requirements.
• Lead efforts to increase employee engagement, focusing on diversity, inclusion, and employee retention.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including union labor laws.
• Manage union-related matters, including grievances, negotiations, and fostering positive relationships with union representatives.
• Champion diversity initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace culture that attracts and retains diverse talent.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and ensure the organization adheres to all federal and state regulations.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Union experience is required.
• A minimum of 4-7 years of HR Generalist experience, with a preference for experience in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
