Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide mechanical design and engineering support for manufacturing processes, focusing on developing and implementing innovative systems and subsystems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SolidWorks, strong knowledge of structural design principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Description

  • Mechanical Design: Design and implement new mechanical systems and subsystems in accordance with approved specifications.
  • Product Development: Participate in the development of product requirements, specifications, and schedules.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate functionality and reliability of various designs.
  • Troubleshooting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design issues.
  • Project Management: Work with the project management team on scheduling, improvements, and design resolution.
  • Design Evaluation: Assess and recommend design changes and specifications as needed.
  • Verification and Validation: Conduct, coordinate, and supervise product design verification and validation to meet milestones.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout all phases of design development, including verification and validation processes.
  • Technical Reviews: Lead and participate in technical design reviews.
  • 3D Modeling: Capable of executing all aspects of engineering design, from concepts to detailed drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
  • Structural Analysis: Perform structural analysis utilizing SolidWorks Simulation as required.
  • Specifications Preparation: Prepare specifications, data sheets, and drawings.
  • Vendor Review: Review vendor proposals and drawings for compliance.

Profile

  • Bachelors Degree, Mechanical Preferred

Job Offer
