Description
- Manage Quality Systems: Oversee ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 certified quality systems and serve as Management Representative for ISO certifications.
- Product Certifications: Secure and maintain hazardous product approvals across various global regions (e.g., explosion proof, flame proof, intrinsic safety).
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Lead compliance efforts for Substances of Very High Concern and stay updated on relevant regulations.
- Document Management: Maintain Controlled Document Lists and manage revisions; create templates and process documents for product approvals.
- Process Improvement: Streamline product approval processes and audit requirements related to certifications.
- KPI Tracking: Design, implement, and monitor quality KPIs to assess performance.
- Audit Oversight: Manage internal, third-party, customer, and registrar audits to ensure compliance.
- Change Control: Oversee Engineering Change Orders and drive changes to completion.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise a small team and manage training records.
Profile
Quality Manager Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in a Quality Manager role within manufacturing or capital equipment sectors.
- Proven track record of engaging with clients to address quality issues.
- Experience in electromechanical assembly is advantageous.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in quantitative analysis and problem-solving.
- Exceptional organizational skills, particularly in documentation.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant manufacturing software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively influence peers.
