Description

Quality Engineer:

  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain and ensure adherence to industry quality standards, including AS9100 and ISO.
  • Conduct Audits: Perform internal and external quality audits to evaluate compliance with established processes and regulations.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause analysis and corrective action investigations for non-conformances to prevent recurrence.
  • Quality Control Plans: Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to ensure product integrity.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and ensure continuous process enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to resolve quality issues and enhance product quality.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards, tools, and methodologies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation related to quality processes, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Assess and monitor supplier performance to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency within the organization.

Profile

Quality Engineer:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: At least 2 years of quality engineering experience, preferably in aerospace, manufacturing, or composite materials.
  • Quality Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality management systems, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with Quality Tools: Proficient in quality improvement tools such as FMEA, SPC, CAPA, and statistical analysis software.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
