Description

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies.
  • Lead investigations into workplace accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and preventive measures.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards.
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal and ensure proper environmental practices are followed.
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports to government agencies.
  • Lead initiatives to promote a culture of safety across the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively address potential safety issues.

Profile

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have over three years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing settings.
  • Possess strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrate experience in conducting safety audits and implementing safety programs.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
  • Show proficiency in developing and delivering safety training and educational programs.
  • Have a track record of managing hazardous waste and ensuring environmental compliance.
  • Display strong communication skills to effectively interact with various departments and regulatory agencies.
  • Be adept at preparing detailed reports and safety performance metrics.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and a proactive approach to fostering a safety-conscious culture within the organization.
