Job description

Prior experience in Industrial Manufacturing Operations (Vessel, Tanks, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Valves, Mechanical Equipment, etc. background is preferred)

Industrial Steel Manufacturing, Production, Machining (CNC & Manual) and Fabrication (Welding, Metal Cutting, Metal Forming) experience is preferred.

The Draftsman is responsible for producing accurate and timely drawings. Act as liaison between shop fabrication and engineering, and report/inform shortcomings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

2D AutoCAD requiree

3D SolidWorks preferred

Basic understanding of P&ID common practices

Basic knowledge of ASME Code and calculations

P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)

Vessels

Knowledge of ASME Code

Code Calculation Knowledge

Internal Drawing Interpretation

Design Vessel with minimal welding

Design internals so that it does not interfere with nozzle I.S.

Accurate BOMS

Issue all drawings required per vessel

Coordinate with shop on how to design better for future vessels.

Coordinate with QC on how to minimize weld size.
